A Summer Kimono Day in Kyoto 💙

I recently took a little trip to Kyoto, and one of the highlights was wearing a beautiful summer kimono!
Summer kimono are made with lightweight, breathable fabric, so they’re much more comfortable to wear during Japan’s hot and humid summer. Since I wanted a fresh, seasonal look, I chose a light blue one that felt perfect for this time of year.
What do you think? Does it suit me? 😊

While I was in Kyoto, I visited several wonderful places, including Genko-an Temple, Kiyomizu-dera, and I also enjoyed a meal on a traditional kawadoko terrace along the Kamo River. It was such a relaxing way to experience the city’s unique summer atmosphere.

There are so many lovely memories from this trip, so I’ll be sharing more about each place in future blog posts!
I hope my Kyoto adventures can give you a few ideas if you’re planning a trip to the Kansai area someday. Stay tuned for more! ✨
